Missionary Farewell Cake

A friend of mine is sending her son off on his mission...today, in fact! She asked me to make him a farewell cake for this past weekend, and I'm pretty happy about how it turned out :)

This cake was extremely tricky for me. I had to do it twice before it would cooperate with me. Luckily, it was a learning experience and I know what to do better next time.
