Less cake...More fruit!

I love Pinterest. Sometimes a little too much. I have been seeing people recently making "cakes" made from fruit. NOT fruitcake - blech. So I decided to attempt one of my own design with my sister for my mom's birthday. I think it turned out pretty cute :)

So the base of the "cake" is actually a watermelon covered in cool whip, yum!

We used skewers and toothpicks to stick the fruit into the "cake"

It was a sticky mess while we worked on it, but it only took about an hour from start to finish, and tasted delicious! Also, it was healthy, so that's always a plus.
