Yes, I'm a nerd. That's okay, because this cake is overflowing with delicious "treasures". I made this cake and the cupcakes for my son's second birthday. It was a pirate theme, obviously, so I made a treasure chest cake and out to sea cupcakes. It was a big hit and surprisingly easy to make as well.
